Concept and Treatment



Video Concept:  The theme is basic, one single story line.  One guy who is thinking of killing himself… his girlfriend left him he feels like he has nothing to live for.  This is a topic that is easy to identify with, and is usually closely related with suicide.

Treatment:  “Hold on” talks about not killing yourself, not committing suicide, so keeping with that theme, by the end of the video the main character will have decided he wants to live.  It will start by showing memories of when he was happy, then to when he broke up, and then finally thoughts about what would happen if he died, and the repercussions that that would have on the world.  The video will work around the main character passed out in a chair after just slitting his wrist.
